Prefers: Full to Part Sun Med Wet-Medium well drained Soil  Can grow up to 9 ft tall (may be pruned back late winter early spring down to 8-12")

The leaves provide shelter to many birds and other wildlife, its root systems can help stabilize soil that is prone to erosion
