Virginia Mountain Mint - Pycnanthemum virginianum

Native to MA  Perennial, Blooms lovely white to light purple flowers from July-Sept, Grows 3 ft High, attractive plant even when not in bloom.  Spreads readily by roots, so needs to be monitored, and roots cut back, grown in container or with a barrier.

Prefers: Full to Part Sun,  Wet-Dry soil            Usually found in meadows and fields

Benefits:  Attracts many pollinators , Deer resistant/deterrent due to minty scent
