Red Osier Dogwood (Cornus stolinifera) Fall 2025

Native Deciduous fast growing shrub , Grows 6-12' tall, will form a thicket or hedge.

Has bright red stems which make it easy to recognize in the winter . In the spring it has showy white flowers. where multiple stalks for a star shape.  Blooms in mid-May to June and has a second bloom in July-August.  White berries, red and purple foliage in autumn.

Prefers:  wet to dry soil, and is tolerant of flooding and wet soils.

Attracts birds.
