Paper Birch (Betula papyrifera)

Native fast growing deciduous tree that has  smooth white bark that curls and peels as it matures. In April it has  Yellow / Green/ Brown Blooms
The fall foliage is a bright yellow.  Usually planted for its ornamental value as its white bark provides a dramatic contrast in the garden.

Prefers: Full Sun (at least 6 hrs) Partial Sun( 3 to 6 hrs), Moist/Dry Soil

Benefits: Birds & Mammals use this tree for shelter and food
Larval Host: Eastern Tiger Swallowtail Butterfly
