    Native Perennial with deep purple blooms from Mid July, August- September  Grows 5-6ft tall

    Leaves are dark green and lance shaped

    Germination code:C(60) Germination from seed -rate can be low, so sow thickly
    Prefers: Full 
    Rich slightly acidic soil with  Medium-Wet, Medium Moisture
    Grows to 6 feet tall  doesn't usually need to be staked

    Provenance:  Seeds harvested on private property Pepperell, MA where no pesticides, herbicides or synthetic fertilizers were ever used.
