Jewel weed - Impatiens capensis

Also known as spotted touch me not.  This plant can be used as antidote for poison ivy & stinging nettle.   Many recipes online, or just use the sap from the plant directly on your skin. It has a tendency to naturally grow near poison ivy, nature is so funny.  So if you have poison ivy, you may already have jewelweed.  I plan to make a antidote balm this year with it.  

Annual that self seeds easily.  Although it takes 2 years to germinate from seed.  So  when using the plant, only cut down to about 2 inches above the ground and leave the roots so It can grow back.
