Canada Wild Rye (Elymus canadensis)

Native to MA  Short lived Perennial that will self seed if it is allowed to grow seed heads. (mowing & mammals grazing will prevent this- once the seed heads appear they are sharp and should be avoided by humans & pets)

Prefers: Full to Part Sun, Med Wet -Dry Soil,  Blooms Aug-Sept.
