Native to all New England States  Showy Perennial Iris of northeastern wetlands. Self Seeds Readily.  Grows to 3ft Tall.  Showy Blue/Purple with a little white Blooms from May - August

Poisonous to Livestock - can cause human skin irritation so wear gloves when handling

Prefers: Full to Part Sun, Moist to Wet Rich Acidic Soil

Attracts: Birds, especially Hummingbirds

Provenance: Grown from seeds purchased NSC  Eco 59 - original ecotype collected Columbia County, NY Grown out: Yorktown Heights, NY by Northeast Seed Collective
