Paled Leafed Sunflower (Helianthus strumosus)

Native to MA  Beautiful yellow blooms July-Sept

Can grow up to 7ft tall ( average 4-5ft), will form clumps.  Divide in Spring clumps.

Prefers: Full Sun, Part Sun, Shade,  dry soils

Benefits: Seed heads attract birds, Goldfinches love the seed heads.  Special value to native bees.
