Early Figwort - Scrophularia lanceolata

Native (to all New England States) Figworts are know as one of the best nectar rich species for attracting butterflies, bees, provides special value to native bees and other insects and birds, including the Ruby-throated Hummingbird!  It can reach up to 5ft in Height,  it reseeds easily in the right conditions.

It's nectar rich unique looking blooms are small and not abundant with color ranging from  yellow , green, brown and appear from May until July

Prefers: light shade, Medium Wet-Dry Soil
