Dwarf Serviceberry (Amelanchier spicata) Fall 2025

Native small shrub that forms loose colonies or thickets. In early spring it is covered with beautiful white flowers followed by delicious berries in early summer.  Grows 3-5 ft tall and wide. Works well as a shrub border or in rock gardens or used to naturalize as understory, or provide erosion control.  Drought tolerant once established.

Prefers: Full to Part Sun, Average to dry well drained acidic soils.

Attracts: Pollinators and birds.
