Native to all New England States, Perennial(short lived, although self seeds well, may not bloom the first year) it is an early spring bloomer April-June (dead head to extend bloom and prevent self seeding). The attractive foliage will mound and stay throughout the summer. With its coral red & cream yellow blooms it is breathtaking. One of my favorites. Self seeds well.
Prefers: Full Sun, Partial, Shade, Medium Wet-Dry Soil with good drainage, Grows to 2' High (if soil is too wet it will shorten its lifespan).
