Wild Petunia (actually looks like a petunia, although not part of the petunia family)

Lavender purple blooms from June-August (even thrives in the hottest part of the summer)  Drought resistant 

Prefers: Full Sun, Moist to dry soil   Spreads easily (can be considered aggressive as the ripe seeds explode up to 10ft in the air)

Grows only to 1ft High making it nice for borders that it can be controlled in.
