Clustered / Broad leaf Mountain Mint- Pycnanthemum muticum

Native Perennial -This non-edible mint forms clumps and spreads easily.  Has a lovely mint aroma and attracts a large and diverse number of pollinators to the small pinkish white blooms from July-September

Grows 1-3ft tall, prefers full sun to part shade, medium moist well drained soil

Deer and Rabbit resistant 

Prune roots/rhizomes in the spring to reduce spreading 

Nectar Plant for: Monarch, Buckeyes, Hairstreaks, Checkerspots, and many other butterflies

Companion Plants: Bee balm, Blazing Star, Black Eyed Susan, Purple Coneflower, Big Bluestem
