Scarlet bee balm- Monarda didyma

Non-Native Perennial (not listed as an invasive species) A Scarlet beauty with a gentle appealing scent.  Individual blooms last up to 3 weeks.  Deadhead for continuous blooms from June - Oct .It will spread easily, so you need to keep it in check(divide every 3 years).

Prefers: full sun to part shade with rich moist  to medium soil - grows to 3 ft

Highly attractive to bees, butterflies and hummingbirds

Pairs well with Wild Beebalm /Bergamot

The name Beebalm came from it being used as a poultice for bee stings.
