Monarda didyma (Scarlet bee balm) *

It is a stand out beauty with a gentle appealing scent. 

Prefers: rich moist soil with full sun to part shade.

Highly attractive to bees, butterflies and hummingbirds

*Monarda didyma is not quite native to New England. It is such an important plant for pollinators and hummingbirds so I decided to add it.

Pairs well with Wild Beebalm/Bergamot

The name Beebalm came from it being used as a poultice for bee stings.
