Wild/Common strawberry - Fragaria virginiana

Native Perennial (to all New England States) this Low growing ground cover 6 inches high, compared to the woodland strawberry that is 2-4 inches in height both bear fruit.  If you can get to the tiny strawberries before the chipmunks they are very tasty. 

Spreads quickly, great to fill a space or on a hill to help stop erosion.  In spring  2024 I planted 3 (1yr+ Plants) by fall there were more than 30 covering about a 10 x 10ft area.

Does well in almost any amount of light : Full sun, part shade, full shade, Medium wet-Dry soil
